چکیده
Soil aggregates are among crucial factors for determining both the quality and erosion resistance of soils. Biochar is a soil amendment that has seen increasing use to improve specific properties, mainly physical structure preserving capacity water nutrients, as well sequestration organic carbon. In this study, we applied rice husk biochar (RHB) cattle manure compost (COM) in sandy loam rural soil, which widely distributed southern Taiwan, investigate combined effects on aggregation dynamic change carbon fractions. Through our incubation experiment, could promote after eight weeks incubation. The total amounts macroaggregates (MaAs, >2.0 mm) mesoaggregates (MeAs, 0.25–2.0 increased by 1.3–9%. During processes, considerably greater amount was found enrich MaAs MeAs all treatments. COM addition further promotes enrichment microaggregates (MiAs, <0.25 + fine particles Increasing labile C (LOC) fractions were significantly during whereas decreasing LOC MiAs. input fresh matter (RHB COM) initial acts binding agents MiAs, then enhances formation gradually. conclusion, RHB protection hence management option enhance potential.

Effects of biochar amendment on soil aggregates and hydraulic properties
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of biochar amendment on soil aggregate formation and stability, and soil hydraulic properties. Biochar produced from dairy manure was added to two different soils (a silty clay and a sandy loam soil) at a ratio of 2% (w/w in dry weight basis). Incubation experiments were conducted within a 90-d period with the soils (the controls) and the soi...
